Microsoft Earth has demoed the up and coming AR game Minecraft Earth at Apples Worldwide Developer Conference.

Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference shows of up and coming software changes to developers, including the up and coming iOS 13. Apple chose this opportunity to demo changes to ARKit, the augmented reality engine behind the new wave of AR games popping up.

This demo gives us an insight into how the game works and a first look at the gameplay in Minecraft Earth.

Users can be in the scene, viewable on the screen with the nameplate along with the users player which you can see on screen.

Step into different adventures in the Minecraft Environment. Fight Skeletons, avoid lava, it’s all available in Minecraft Earth.

This short demo gives us insight into how Minecraft Earth will work. The new features coming look pretty amazing in AR. While we haven’t been given a release date yet it looks pretty polished so far.
